business innovation and labor law: sant’anna School dirpolis institute AND UTILITALIA announce 7th training course taking place in florence in march 2020

The 7th course “Diritto del lavoro in trasformazione” will be offered from 13 March 2020 to 25 May 2020. Eight sessions will be held at TiForma (via Giovanni Paisiello 8 - Florence). The course offers an overview of labor and employment laws, intellectual property, competition and corporate governance. Topics will cover a system of rules provided by law and collective agreements aimed at smart working and flexible working solutions. Sant’Anna School in Pisa hosts the final lecture.

The course “Diritto del lavoro in trasformazione” is organised by the Dirpolis Institute (Law, Politics, Development) of Sant’Anna School and Utilitalia under the scientific supervision of Professor Pasqualino Albi (University of Pisa) and researcher Cristina Napoli (Sant’Anna School). Applications are accepted until 5 March 2020.

All participants who successfully complete all the course modules and pass the final examination will receive the course certificate. The Course accreditation application is reviewed by the Italian National Ordine degli Avvocati and Consulenti del Lavoro committees.

The topics of the expert training session taught by Pasqualino Albi and Antonella Ninci (Tuscany region Inail organization for Occupational health and safety awareness) comprise of smart working and workplace flexibility bringing together new technology and new concepts in workplace for a more manageable work-life interface. By examining business innovation through the perspectives of different legal disciplines such as intellectual property, labor and employment laws, privacy policy and corporate laws. In addition to Pasqualino Albi, Paola Giuliani (Director of Utilitalia) and Valeria Ronzitti (General Secretary Ceep) will provide insights into more harmonized approaches taken by management and unions.

This tackles new working environments, technologies practical and legal aspects in employment. The challenge is to create a balanced framework doing justice to employers, employees, property and technology.”
